Charles M. Heaton, the oldest brother of the late James Heaton and Mrs. I. F. Wade, of this city, was buried in Washington Wednesday. He would have been 9- years old on the 7th of this month. Mr. Heaton was one of the pioneer settlers of this city, coming in 1821, and lived here until 1837, when he removed to South Bend. Upon the election of Mr. Lincoln in 1860 he was appointed to a position in Washington where he lived until his death. -s
